Wesley,
What is your take on these guarantee issue plans for the uninsurable? The only benefit I can see is you get contracted pricing which leads to my next question. Is there a way to get into an hmo or ppo for the uninsurable and get contracted pricing?

I would check with you state for their Health Risk Pool first.
Then I would check with Assurant to see if their KEY MED was in your state.
Only as the last option would I offer any type of guaranteed issue plan. Never give them an Association Plan that just gives them discounts though. They can negotiate and get those same discounts themselves if need be.

I've been curious about AIM plans myself. They look like they at least provide some benefits to the customer.
