Hi all,

Any advice from any experienced b2b agents would be helpful. A good first impression/introduction without scaring the business owner.

My script is pretty simple. I always assume the lead is the person that answers the phone. So if my lead says John and a guy answers the phone, I say John.

Hey John, this is Wesley over at Brinson Health Insurance. We specialize in working with business owners and self employed to save them money on their health insurance. Normally we just gather about 30 seconds of information and either email or fax over a quote to you.

Do you have health insurance now?

Then I just go into asking them the questions.

How old are you?
Would anyone else be on the plan?
How old are they?
Does anyone smoke?
Any medical conditions that I need to make sure gets covered?

If they say they had health insurance I would say:

OK so you have health insurance now Who do you have?
How much do you per month for that?

Great I got all the information. Just to let you know I work with all the major carriers so I'll work up a quote and see who's the best option for you.
I can email or fax the quote to you which do you prefer?

Ok I got everything

That's the basic script that I've used for a while. It's all about how many people you can talk to.

Here's a great phone system if you plan on telemarketing a lot: http://www.vipfinancialgroupus.com/Predictive_Dialer.html

It dials the numbers for you and you can call about 100 people per hour.

Very nice Wesley. I like that. I however am not working any lead system. I will be going personally to small businesses and introducing myself. I cannot afford to buy leads just yet.

Not sure who you are ANONYMOUS. But it only cost $10 per month to buy business owner leads, all you want at www.GoLeads.com

Josephmann,
I checked on the predictive dialer and the goleads.com site. If you use the dialer the $10 a month deal won't work because you cannot import the list to the dialer. It would work to dial manually unless I misunderstood.
